Great Green Gobs of Greasy Grimy Gopher Guts

Or Grass Cloth. Whichever. Here's the new color we picked out. Brandon is skillfully applying the edging. Oh, and he bought me a paint sucker tube thingy. So it sucks up to half-quart? in it's tube, and you pull a trigger to get the paint on the roller. SO wonderful.

We bought a quart of it and put it on the walls to help us decide, cause a swatch will never tell you the truth. Sometimes, I think it's a little bit baby poo-colored, but really, it's 100% better then the green that was there before. (Muddy Green, I now call it) Oh, the door behind Brandon is white, but the trim is not. You can tell in the daylight photos. Only the other 3 doorways hav the trim done. Just so that you know that the trim needs to be painted white still. And farewell faux-bricks.

Can you see them on the right? They were all over the place. The color on the right is the old green, the dining room is through the door on the right, the stairs section of the living room through the left.

I love that the colors go well together as you look into the next room.

When we remodel the kitchen, there will be clean real white cabinets, so this will be so fresh to be in. It's just a hair off of my favorite Stampin' Up green, Certainly Celery. I really love referring to colors in the real world as Stampin Up colors. What do you think?

I love it. I, myself, am a huge fan of green. So much so that my bedroom, my kitchen, and the playroom are all painted various shades of essentially the same color...because really, there is a huge difference between River Grass and Celery.

p.s. You are right...my Target rug would look FANTASTIC in your house!

oh I love it! It's a fab color! I love all the colors you have! Unfortunately, tx favors that "open floor plan" idea and it's freakin hard to paint just one room cause they all run together! I'm way jealous, it looks great!

Beautiful. AND, I love the gray walls too. You need to include more photos of your home. It's great!

Did I mention that I love that color? It should be no surprise to you now that you've seen my house. I'm into color.

Ok, I've been thinking about it all day, and have decided that you have an uncanny ability to pick great paint colors. The best I've ever seen out of a Real Person, not a Pottery Barn catalog. So here's what let's do: Invite me over for dinner, because I want to see your whole house. I'll even bring something! That, or list all of your paint colors and names on your blog, with pictures. But wouldn't it be easier to just have me over? Yes, yes, it would. 789-3030. :)

Hey, so I got your paint chip and now I wonder what finish you chose? Are you a semi girl, or more of an eggshell type?
